Ref. 45:
This reference is to an article in The Swedish Daily (Sw.:“Svenska Dagbladet”) on June 13, 2004, just 2 days prior to the trial of Pastor Green for his sermon about sexual immorality. In the article Pastor Hedin rejects what Pastor Green has preached. Translated into your language it reads (in part):
Pastor charged with incitement against a people group
On Tuesday the trial of a Pentecostal pastor from Öland will take place. The man stands accused of incitement against a group of people after having expressed himself, in one of his sermons, in a way that was offensive to the homosexuals…After the filing of charges the pastor told the news media that he does not regret but is standing by what he said.
Sten-Gunnar Hedin, leader of the Filadelfia Church in Stockholm and the official spokesperson for "Pingst" (which is the umbrella organization for the Pentecostal denomination) stated:
"I find it improper for Green to talk like he did about a group of people and I don’t believe that he can substantiate what he said. What he said is not sanctioned by the Pentecostal Denomination and I personally take exception to it."
